The Volkswagen e-Golf is Named the 2017 AAA Green Car Guide's Top Green Vehicle

As if saving the environment didn't feel good enough, the Volkswagen e-Golf is getting some additional praise. The e-Golf has been named the Top Green Vehicle among compact cars in the 2017 AAA Green Car Guide. Affordability, efficiency, and eco-friendly driving work together in perfect harmony for Corpus Christi drivers.

What made this honor possible? An improved battery inside the e-Golf. The new lithium-ion battery increases the vehicle's range from 83 miles to 125 miles, because of increased energy capacity. That means you can go up to 42 miles further on a single charge.

The New Volkswagen Arteon Bows at the 2017 Geneva Auto Show

If you’re wondering Why the name “Sedric?”, it’s because it stands for “self driving car,” and that’s exactly what the Sedric is designed for. It’s no accident that this concept vehicle is missing a steering wheel or pedals, and while this is only a concept vehicle for now, it certainly demonstrates VW’s ability to help shape a future where “mobility” looks far different than it does now!
